Lion’s Fire Sticks (Thupa ea Mollo oa Tau) is a story for older readers illustrated by children from the Paleng library. This tale is an adaptation of a traditional story from the San people of southern Africa. Many Basotho are descended from this group of people.
The story is followed by a thought-provoking exercise: “Lion is angry that the people and animals stole his fire stick. Think of something that you can give Lion to make him happy. Draw or write it here.”
